Changes are coming to the dk MeetYourMakers DotA 2 team after a string of lackluster results recently. The team, that is currently competing in joinDota Premier EU league, ASUS ROG DreamLeague and SLTV StarSeries has been posting disappointing results in these important leagues which has led the team to make necessary changes.

Two familiar faces will be joining the MeetYourMakers DotA 2 squad in the form of dk Sylvester “Link” Hoelgaard and dk Christoffer “Ryze” Winther. Both have great experience to add to the team and more importantly also will fit in well with the remaining line-up. This current squad has played together before, most recently representing mousesports. Leaving the team will be dk Hampus “Mini” Olsson and dk Metehan “Exist” Aksüt. Changes are never easy and we would like to thank them for their time and dedication during their time with our team. Both are very talented players and we hope that they find success in the future no matter where their path takes them.

This leaves our roster with :

dk Marcus “Ace” Hoelgaard
dk Jonathan “Unicorn” Arge
dk Andreas Franck “Cr1t” Nielsen
dk Sylvester “Link” Hoelgaard
dk Christoffer “Ryze” Winther

dk Damir “NeStl3K” Dedic (manager)

Upon his departure, dk Mini had the following to say:

“I’m really glad MYM gave me this opportunity to be a part of the team. I realize it was necessary that changes were to be made but I’m truly sad that the decision was for me to leave. I’ll respect MYM for taking this decision. I truly appreciate that the organization stood by their word and actually paid out salary and supported us in any way needed. (This is the first time a sponsor actually stood by their word for me). It was a pleasure to play under the MYM name and I’m sorry I disappointed you guys. I wish the new roster more success that will get MYM the reputation they deserve. Good luck!”

This is what dk Ryze had to say about joining MYM:

“I’ve been very excited ever since Cr1t called me to try out for MYM together with Link. I’ll try my hardest to make it work and make a name for MYM once again!”

MYM’s DotA 2 Manager dk Damir “NeStli3K” Dedic provided with the following statement:

“After it became apparent that we would have to make changes to the line-up we started analyzing possible solutions. This line-up was chosen after much thought which goes to show how much trust we have in this line-up showing good results in the future. I would like to take this opportunity to personally thank Exist and Mini for their time with the team.”
