She might be the least played Champion of the League with the lowest win rate, but now Karma will receive a brand new design to make her more attractive to play!

Karma's unique abilities and her Mantra make her quite unwelcome in the current meta; she can't protect and get her carry fed in the early game as good as other Supports. The late game is the true strength of Karma. While some players cherish this playstyle, love playing her and are really strong with her, most players get frustrated and replace her with other champions like Sona or Zyra due to the pressure of the community or their own sensation. For all of these, seeing her in the fields of justice is quite rare.

Long time ago, Riot announced a total Karma rework: A visual upgrade and an ability rework. While the ability rework is still in process (Morello mentioned they had to restart the rework in December 2012, but that they have been working as fast as they can), now we finally get a visual upgrade for Karma! Karma's visual upgrade might be the  heaviest by now with a totally new model, a new outfit and removing some parts of Karma which never fit her lore or her playstyle.

So neither fans nor a long dress, instead some fancy glowing and a more ionian outfit (for those who forgot/don't know: Karma is a fighter of Ionia). All in all, she looks nothing like the"old" Karma - not even the colors are the same. Her new look shall emphasize her "status as a paragon of Ionia" and make her look a little bit more badass and attractive to play. The removing of the fans is explained by Grumpy Monkey as a necessary move, because the Fans didn't "reflect who we wanted Karma to be going forward". Some players may miss her unique old style, but Riot prepared a suprise for this: They made a new skin; the Traitionell/Vintage Karma! All players who own Karma before her Update hits the Live Server will receive this special Skin for free! Unfourtnely this skin doesn't include fans either, but it is still an great offer for the lovers of her old style.  An artwork of her Vintage skin isn't out yet, but we can get a glimpse of the skin ingame.

After Karma's visual update goes live, the skin will be available for purchase for two weeks and then will be retired to the Leagcy Skin vault.
