Early Monday, the Electronic Sports League, who is the organizer behind Intel Extreme Masters released the groups for the upcoming World Finals for the 2012/2013 season of the tournament. The finals will feature a total of 2 groups, each with 8 teams. The top team of each group will advance directly to the semifinals, while 2^nd and 3^rd place of both groups will fight eachother to determine the last 2 teams to reach the semifinals.

The event will feature some of the most well known teams around the world, such as Gambit Gaming, Fnatic, SK Gaming or both of the CJ Entus teams, all fighting for a share of the $150,000 up for grabs, with the winner receiving the staggering amount of $60,000.

Our very own League of Legends team will be making the trip to Hannover, where they will play in Group B alongside the likes of SK Gaming, CJ Entus Frost or Evil Geniuses. Full groups can be found below:
