It was announced last Sunday that French team Shakira would be stepping down from The Premier League Season 3, allegedly due to their inability to adapt their schedules in such way that it would allow them to play the remainder of their matches. Replacing them will be the Ukrainians from Eclypsia, who surely are eager to prove their worth after joining the French organization.

Ivan “ArtStyle” Ivanov, from Eclypsia, commented the following:

“We are delighted to be given an opportunity to compete with all the great teams already in The Premier League. We hope to prove again to our fans we are at the top of Dota 2 and will do everything to make it count!”

On the other hand, Team Shakira also voiced their opinion through  Fabien “Shiba” Turgis, who said the following:

“Following our recent availability issue. we can’t continue to play in the Premier League. We took an assumption at the start of the league that we could play in good condition with TPL schedule, but some assumptions don’t come true and we must leave TPL Season 3 at the moment. We wish good luck to our replacement team and also thx to TPL administration (shoutout to Ange) for their patience with us during this season. We hope we’ll be ready to play TPL Season 4 with a full roster and more availability!””

With this move, Eclypsia inherited the remainder of Shakira’s schedule, as well as the score the French team had at the point of the change, which was 0 points after having lost the only game they had played. Since then, Eclypsia has played 2 more matches, yielding poor results in both of them, as they now remain with 0 points after having played a total of 3 matches.
