Monday night our League of Legends team managed to completely obliterate Fnatic.RC from the map with a 2-0 win in the Millenium European Showmatch, bagging themselves 100 euros in the process and proving yet again that they can beat the best teams if so they want.

Game 1:

MYM: Sona, Vayne, Rengar, Orianna and Nocturne   Bans: Blitzcrank, Yorick and Jayce

Fnatic.RC: Lee Sin, Zilean, Riven, Graves and Taric   Bans: Nunu, Shen and Ezreal

Game 1 started out pretty close, with both teams securing a kill just at the beginning of the game, but it would be our team who would end up getting an advantage as the clock kept ticking. By the 10 minute mark our team would already be up by 2 kills and 1000 gold, in part thanks to 2 kills obtained in bot lane and a nice gank from Nocturne on the top lane. From then on our team would just keep snowballing as every single fight would go our way, securing a 4 to 1 exchange at dragon in minute 17. Fnatic.RC wouldn’t survive for much longer and that’s why just a little bit after minute 22 they decided to quit the match, making it a 14-3 victory for our team and a 1-0 lead in the series.

Game 2:

MYM: Skarner, Lux, Irelia, Zilean and Vayne   Bans: Yorick, Rengar and Ezreal

Fnatic.RC: Zyra, Caitlyn, Jayce, Orianna and Lee Sin   Bans: Nunu, Shen and Sona

Game 2 would see our team having the best start they could have dreamt for, as just by minute 2 Vayne would manage to get first blood on Lee Sin, who was invading the jungle. From then on the game would always be controlled by our team. Only glimpse of hope for Fnatic.RC came when Lee Sin managed to somehow kill Dragon and reduce the gold difference. But even then, our team was still up 6-0 in the scoresheet, making it a 16-5 advantage just by minute 21. From there on there wasn’t much Fnatic.RC could do and our team managed to secure Baron at minute 25, from which point our team would only have to wait for 6 minutes until minute mark 31 where Fnatic.RC would abandon the game with a score of 28-7 in our favor.

With this victory, our team secures yet another great result after having already showed some great performances in the past weeks. With this boost of confidence our team will look to achieve a good placing in the upcoming 4PL All or Nothing, where they will start out by facing Team Acer.
