MYM.MVP - A Partnership of Success
We celebrate the launch of the new website to take a closer look at MYM.MVP's current state, goals and performances. From the StarCraft 2 Academy to the GSL and beyond. A successful partnership, taking Alan Kay's quote: "The best way to predict the future is to invent it", to heart.

MYM's StarCraft 2 Vision
With MYM having built a completely new website, to enhance the overall experience of the community, it has also taken steps to reignite its StarCraft 2 division. The organization recently established the MYM StarCraft 2 Academy to underline its ambitions to groom, attract and successfully compete at international events.
Its StarCraft 2 division has been host to a number of talented players in the past such as NaNiwa, SaSe and DeMusliM among others.
Though it may appear difficult to replace such great names, MYM is very confident in its approach to rebuild the roster and re-establish itself as a first tier team in Europe.
The MYM StarCraft 2 Academy, spearheaded by Yassine 'Yassine' Jaada, is on the lookout for talented, dedicated and hard young players. The aim of the academy is to provide a platform for up and coming players. The three current members are practicing hard to make a name for themselves and to gain recognition within the professional scene. Recruitment is still ongoing and with its fresh approach MYM investment into new talents who they believe can win titles and trophies for the team is a step in the right direction.
MVP - The other side of MYM
Back in April, the partnership between MYM and MVP was formed to create MYM.MVP. First making a name for themselves in the GSTL, appearing in two consecutive finals, winning one of them. Their star player DongRaeGu has claimed numerous victories both in Korea and abroad. Winning GSL Season 1 against his former teammate Genius. Further cementing his position as one of the top Zergs and players in the world.
After a short slump in Season 2, unexpectedly dropping to Code A, he fought his way back up into Code S and in GSL Season 3 he cruised into the Ro4, unfortunately his run was halted by SK.MC.
He made time to travel to Anaheim to be crowned winner of the the 2012 MLG Spring Championship, dropping only 4 maps through the entire tournament.
In the next installment of the GSL he will want to add to this trophy collection and become the second Zerg with multiple GSL Championships.
MVPKeen, currently the teams' sole Terran in the GSL has shown great matches in the past and undeniable talent, taking out heavyweights such as NesTea, MMA and Squirtle, managing to make his way to Code S Ro16. He will aim to continue his momentum into next season and hopefully improve on his previous performance.
Other members of the team are slowly making a name for themselves. MVP's Monster, Sniper, TAiLS and Vampire have been making steady progress outside the team league and
will try to better themselves as a new season of GSL approaches. A notable mention to MVPsC, his continuous health problems have not stopped him from practicing, managing to qualify for WCS Korea along with DRG and TAiLS. We wish him all the best for the later stages of 2012, hoping to see more games from him.
The recent departure of Genius has left the team without a Code S Protoss player, time will tell if the remaining Protoss players on the team: Vampire, TAiLS, Lure or finale are able fill his shoes and live up to his success and reputation.
In the ongoing tournaments such as 2012 OnGameNet Starleague Season 1, MVP's DRG, Sniper and Vampire successfully qualified. In the 2012 StarCraft II WCS: South Korea Nationals, DRG along with TAiLS and sC have successfully managed to represent MVP in the next round.
As MYM is looking to rebuild their StarCraft 2 team and establish themselves as a powerhouse, their Korean counterpart will want to add to their domestic and foreign success, by improving their performances in the GSL and international tournaments.
They will look to DRG to lead and inspire the team to further victories in 2012 and beyond. Together MYM.MVP make a great combination, being able to practice with some of Korea's best players can only be of benefit MYM's players.
In addition, play styles in Europe differ to those in Korea, players on both teams can mutually benefit from this, a win-win scenario for everyone. Furthermore, MVP can call on their counterpart's resources when traveling to tournaments in Europe.
The future looks bright for MYM.MVP, as the German based team looks to build a strong line-up over the coming months, their Korean partners seek to continue to perform well in domestic competitions and foreign events.
Everything seems to be going in the right direction and we hope to report on more success stories from this great alliance in the coming future.
