The latest update in Dota 2 has allowed Medusa to enter the CM pool, and Tuskar has been added to the test client and will later be added to the normal client most likely in the following week. Tusk has been viewed in the community as a great ganker and a durable hero during team fights and has proven to be a great initiator, especially with hes snowball ability. This is an interesting and fun addition to the Dota 2 hero pool. The addition of Medusa to the CM pool leaves much to be desired considering the current meta game carries of choice (Phantom Lancer, Gyro, Naix, etc.). Medusa is a durable hero that could easily counter initiations with her Stone gaze ability, however she does require additional farm compared to other carries in order to be of much use during early engagements. The following 2 week's matches will give an indication how the competitive scene takes to Medusa and if she will become a hero of choice or become another Tier 5 hero.
