Video: Our Staff Review of PlanetSide 2
Our StarCraft II editor takes us through SOE's new futuristic F2P MMOFPS PlanetSide 2, where he reviews it at a South Korean LAN cafe.
Exactly one month ago today, Sony Online Entertainment released PlanetSide 2, a massively multiplayer online first-person shooter that takes place in a futuristic space-age world. Players split into three factions duke it out over territories in a persistent world using robot suits, tanks, gunships and a host of other high tech toys. But most importantly the game is free to play, running on microtransactions for cosmetic upgrades and experience boosts.
Since its release, our StarCraft II editor Chris "Fragsteel" Orris has been enjoying it from his pad in South Korea and made a video review so the rest of us can decide if it's worth the download:
