For the first time in history a Campus Party event will be held in a European country not being Spain, as the organizers behind the event decided this year to hold Campus Party Europe in Berlin, Germany. The event which kicked off today and will last until the 26^th of this month is sponsored by long term partner of Campus Party Telefonica and its German subsidiary, O2.

As it has been usual for quite some years now Campus Party will be hosting professional eSports tournaments as well as casual gaming tournaments, some of them with some hefty prize money as is the case of the Starcraft 2 and League of Legends competitions. To be concrete, Campus Party Europe will be handing out $25,000 in both of the above mentioned games, a prize which will be disputed by up to 19 players in Starcraft 2 and 8 teams in League of Legends.

The League of Legends event promises to be an interesting one, with some of the top European teams like Curse, Mousesports, SK, Fnatic or our very own Polish team making the trip to Berlin, accompanied by some of the most promising European teams, like Tt Dragons, BLACK or Eclypsia.Luna.

The League of Legends tournament will kick off tomorrow with Group A, where our Polish warriors have been placed in, and will continue on Wednesday with  all the action from Group B. Below you can find both groups with its respective teams.

As you can see above, our team will start their journey playing against BLACK, a match they need to win if they want to advance from the group stage, considering BLACK is the weakest team in the group. Later on, our team will face Curse.eu who just recently competed in the Season 2 European Regional Finals, where they finished in a somewhat mediocre 5-8^th position. Our team will conclude their groupstage journey playing against the newly announced Mousesports lineup.
