TSM wins the IPL Face Off San Francisco

Team SoloMid have once again proven their dominance by winning the IPL Face Off and only losing 1 game in the whole tournament. With another trophy in their hands, TSM will be also taking home a prize of $20,000!

The last 2 days have been extremely exciting for the North American and Asian LoL scene. 8 competitors (from which 6 are from NA, and 2 from Asia) have been fighting for a grand prize of $20,000 and the prestigious title of the IPL Face Off winner! The tournament brought us many exciting matches, many new gamestyles and also many not-so-popular players have shown that they can compete with the best of the best.
The teams attending the tournament were:

Team SoloMid,

mTw.NA,

Team Legion,

Team Dynamic,

Team Curse,

Orbit Gaming,

World Elite and

Singapore Sentinels. The most favoured team was

TSM, one of the most popular teams in the LoL scene, who previusly won 6 major and some minor tournaments.
Watching the tournament, we could have seen the difference between the North American and Asian playstyle. Since the tournament was organised in a double elimination bracket format, the 2 Asian representatives were eliminated in round 2 of Loser's Bracket.

Team SoloMid, the winners of this major tournament, didn't have an easy way to the throne at all.
